허니문 마지막 여행지로 바르셀로나를 방문하면서 건우 가이드님의 가우디 투어에 참여했습니다.

지금까지 받아본 어떤 투어와도 비교할 수 없을 만큼 깊이 있고 알찬 시간이었고, 그의 열정과 지식은 정말 압도적이었습니다. 단 한순간도 허투루 지나가는 시간이 없었고, 모든 설명이 명확하고 깔끔했습니다.

처음 뵈었을 때는 생각보다 젊은 모습에 놀랐지만, 진행 능력과 전달력은 정말 뛰어났습니다. 설명 중간중간 역사와 문화, 가우디라는 인물의 철학까지 자연스럽게 연결해주셔서 마치 이야기책을 듣는 것처럼 집중할 수 있었습니다. 사진도 정말 예쁘게 찍어주셔서 여행의 추억을 완벽하게 남길 수 있었어요.

저희는 미국에서 온 교포인데, 투어는 한국어로 진행되었지만 사용하는 단어가 어렵지 않아 기초 한국어 수준으로도 충분히 이해할 수 있었습니다. 한국어가 완벽하지 않아도 부담 없이 참여할 수 있는 투어라는 점이 정말 좋았습니다.

특히 마지막에 들려주신 가이드님의 개인적인 소감이 가장 인상 깊었습니다. 오랜 시간 가우디를 설명해 온 사람으로서 느낀 점을 진심으로 나눠주셨고, 그 덕분에 가우디가 얼마나 겸손하고 자연을 존중하며 모든 것에 깊은 의미를 담았는지를 더 깊이 느낄 수 있었습니다. 그 한마디가 마음을 울려 눈물이 핑 돌 정도였습니다.

건우 가이드님은 축구 선수로서의 삶과 투어 가이드를 병행하면서도, 모든 일에 진심과 열정을 다해 임하시는 모습이 정말 인상적이었습니다. 앞으로 어떤 길을 가시든, 반드시 빛나실 거라 믿습니다. 이 투어 덕분에 바르셀로나와 가우디를 전혀 새로운 시선으로 바라보게 되었고, 여행의 마지막을 가장 특별하게 장식할 수 있었습니다. 🙏⚽️✨

Barcelona was the last stop of our honeymoon, and joining Gunwoo’s Gaudí tour turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our entire trip. His passion, knowledge, and attention to detail were truly unmatched. Not a single moment was wasted — every explanation was clear, intentional, and meaningful.

We were immediately impressed by how smooth and well-organized the tour was. Even though he looked younger than we expected, his leadership and communication were incredibly professional. He shared Gaudí’s story, history, and design philosophy in a way that was easy to follow and captivating, and he took beautiful individual photos for everyone along the way.

As Korean Americans, we were so grateful that the tour was conducted in Korean using simple, easy-to-understand language. Even with just basic Korean, we were able to fully enjoy and understand everything.

The most touching part came at the very end, when Gunwoo shared his own personal impression of Gaudí after years of talking about him. Through his words, we could feel how humble and thoughtful Gaudí was, and how much he respected nature and infused meaning into every detail of his work. That moment moved me to tears.

Balancing life as a soccer player and a tour guide isn’t easy, but it’s so clear how much heart and passion he pours into everything he does. We have no doubt that whatever path he chooses — whether it’s soccer, guiding, or something else — he’ll shine brightly. This tour made our time in Barcelona unforgettable. 🙌✨
